Who we are:
We are an organization of Ugandan young men and women who came from a background of street life and X child-soldiers. In Aug. 2007 we were chased from an orphanage project through ethnic cleansing and were rescued by a USA lady named Jane Snyder and sent to secondary school. In Nov. 2007 she set up the ABU organization for us and her USA charity Melchizedek’s Treasure finances it.
This web-book of remembrances is in honor of our organization’s first anniversary.
We run the org. with some small help. Ten of us have projects of our own as we keep street kids in different cities in Uganda. You can see and read about our projects on the web-site of our sponsor ActiveBlessing.com.
We are mostly Christian and we have a loose Christian fellowship and a few sports clubs. All of us have lost our families in the war and some of us through HIV. We have come out of living death into living ressurection life. We exist to help others who are suffering.
Our motto: is taken from Acts 3:6:
Silver and gold have I none but what I have I give to you. In the Name of Jesus Christ rise up and walk.
